The Budapest Centre partecipated to the Expert Seminar “Facing gross violations and international crimes” organized by Geneva for Human Rights – Global Training (GHR) and of the Centro di Ateneo per i diritti umani, the Human Rights Centre of the University of Padova, in the city of Geneva on 14th May 2014.
The seminar provided the opportunity to introduce many facets of international criminal justice and to sensitize the many participants in the main elements of the UN and civil society responses to gross violations and international crimes.
Dr. Marialaura Marinozzi, researcher of the Budapest Centre, spoke about the architecture for the prevention of mass atrocities with as specific focus on the use of preventive multi-track diplomacy.
